Seminar 4

Hello everyone! How is it goin'? Let's continue our English learning. Today I wanna introduce some interesting stuff for creating presentations.

For sure u have ever created presentations for some seminars in ur university. Looking at all, u create presentations by the default program Microsoft PowerPoint all the time, and ofc u could face the problem to create ur own presentation more colorful and respectable. But now u'll be pleasantly surprised, this online-programs should solve any issues with that.

The leading app is Prezi. Its distinctive feature is that all slides are located on a huge desktop and switch among themselves by means of zooming-effect, which allows u to create a real presentation script, without being distracted by developing additional ways to attract the attention of viewers. The possibility of collective work on one project in real time, inserting video, animated and vector images, audio and PDF-docs in ur presentation. But there's no such thing as a free lunch! This pleasure costs 159$ a year! If u're just a student u can also create ur presentations online,  it's full free, seemingly.
Here's my own little presentation

Also I wanna introduce u another web-site slideshare.net

LinkedIn SlideShare for professional content including presentations, infographics, documents, and videos. Users can upload files privately or publicly in PowerPoint, Word, PDF, or OpenDocument format. It can be seen that it can be seen on the site. Launched on October 4, 2006, but for slideshows. It was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012. It’sn’t been up to you to entertain.Although the The website is primarily a hosting service, it also supports documents, PDFs, videos and webinars. SlideShare also allows you to rate, comment on, and share the uploaded content.

Just try it!

Seminar 2. CALL & Language Skills

Sup guyz! I'd like to say that I rly dunno how to make my blog useful and interesting, but I'll try my best.

First of all I wanna talk about "CALL", it's a Computer Assisted Language Learning. In simple words it's a learning of a language by means of computer or other modern devices (the Internet, educational programs, training courses etc.).

And here're some educational web-sites and programs which are able to increase the level of ur language skills. One of the most important thing that helps u to speak well and fluent is the program "Tell Me More". That program course can provide a large mix of functions for creating ur own syllabus corrisponding to ur skill level and requirements.

Speaking about Grammar, I can introduce u a good web-site "click". Here're a lot of grammatical units which are distributed conveniently to learn.

And the last one is Vocabulary. I wanna add from myself cool web-site wooordhunt.ru which is one of my favorite, but this one is just for translate and transcription than as full vocabulary. At ur disposal here's a huge vocabulary with correct transcription in any variant(British or American) for each word. Also u can see there some tips for words and word combinations and much more.
Upd: Also English vocabularies are distinguished by greater objectivity and accuracy, since they're compiled by natives. There u can find more examples of the use of the word and, therefore, better understand its meaning. When choosing, pay attention to the products of leading British publishers: Oxford, Cambridge, Collins, Longman.

Hope u like this info and try to use it by urself! CUL8R! :)
